Description
Worker minor. Smaller; Length 7.8-9 mm. Body entirely black, limbs and funicles red. A strong indentation between mesonotum and metanotum(= propodeum), basal face rising in a slope after the indentation, instead of departing horizontally from the curve of the mesonotum as in the type. Basal face is shorter than the type, scarcely longer than the declivity; this latter is higher and more abrupt which renders the metanotum (= propodeum) sub cubic. Otherwise like the type suffusus but the head is narrower behind and the eyes are more convex.
